May: Native Plant Identification- Explore local trails or green spaces to learn about native plants and their ecological roles. Hands-on ID practice with real specimens.
June: Nature Mindfulness- Slow down with mindful nature walks and sit spots to cultivate awareness and connection to the natural world.
July: Wild Art, Natural Clay Creations- Sculpt, shape, and decorate with natural clay and found objects in this creative, earthy art workshop.
August: Wild Art, Natural Dyes: Discover how to create beautiful, plant-based pigments from items like berries, flowers, and minerals.
September: Seed Starting, Fall Crops & Native Plants: Learn about native wildflowers and fall crops while preparing seed starts or seed balls for planting.
October: Nature Mindfulness- Embrace the change of seasons through calming sit spots and nature journaling with an autumn lens.
November: Nature Mindfulness- Reflect on the year with gratitude-focused mindfulness and sensory-based nature activities.
December: Wild Art, Foraged Wreaths: Celebrate the season by creating wreaths using evergreen clippings, dried flowers, and natural textures from the winter landscape.
