City Nature Challenge 2025: Explore, Discover, and Share!

Tiny Green Learning is thrilled to coordinate the 2025 City Nature Challenge for the Greater Akron area in collaboration with the L.E.A.P. (Lake Erie Allegheny Partnership) Consortium! This exciting global event invites nature lovers of all ages to document local biodiversity using the iNaturalist app.

From April 25–28, 2025, participants will head outdoors to observe and photograph plants, animals, and fungi in parks, backyards, and natural areas. Then, from April 29–May 5, the global community will help identify and catalog observations, contributing valuable data to real scientific research.

Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist, a curious beginner, or a family looking for a fun outdoor activity, your observations help scientists better understand and protect local ecosystems.
