Let's Keep Going: reflecting on the 2024 election.

As I reflect on this new chapter in our country, I feel the weight of what it could mean for my children and for all of us. Like many of you, I feel grief—but I am also moved to take action.

I know that I need time to process, but I cannot let my grief be the end of this story. Today, more than ever, there is essential work to be done.

At Tiny Green Learning, I am committed to working harder than ever to bring children and families access to safe, clean, green spaces where they can experience the physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional benefits of nature. I will work to foster a love for the natural world—one that grows into the policies that protect it from the impacts of climate change and environmental injustice.

I will continue empowering children and their families to grow and access local, seasonal foods that nurture whole-body health and help tackle food insecurity. And I will work tirelessly to teach our children that they, too, can be agents of change, so that when they face hard choices, they have the confidence and ability to uplift their neighbors and their planet.

Today, we may have been given more work to do—but we can do it together. Let’s hold each other accountable. Let’s make time to grieve, then show up for each other and for our children, even stronger than before.
