Sunshine, Spring Wildlife, and So Much Joy!

Oh my goodness, friends—I am SO GRATEFUL for all of the families who joined us this morning for our March Nature Play Date! With the sun shining and temperatures reaching a perfect 70°F, it was the kind of day that makes you want to stay outside forever.

We welcomed 41 attendees, including several new families, and spent the morning adventuring along the Cherry Lane Trail. The kids were full of energy—running, splashing, and climbing their way through nature.

Along the trail, we were lucky to spot so many signs of spring: hawks, turtles, cardinals, red-winged blackbirds, ducks, song sparrows, and woodpeckers! The excitement and curiosity were contagious.

After our hike, we gathered inside the nature center for free play—and a special surprise! The kids got to meet a live turtle, which sparked tons of questions and big smiles. It was such a fun and educational way to wrap up our morning together.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to learn, play, and explore with us. These shared moments in nature help build lasting connections—to each other and to the world around us.

We can’t wait to do it all again—see you in April!
With gratitude,
Tiny Green Learning
